About Clash Docs Center

Our role, core background, and editorial standards.

Documentation and downloads

Clash Docs Center is an independent documentation resource offering guides in multiple languages, YAML field references, and download links. It is not affiliated with client development teams. The downloads page lists clients and installation instructions by platform to help readers verify project names, package types, and sources. The user guide covers importing configurations, choosing a mode, and testing connectivity.

Clash, Meta, and mihomo

The original Clash is a proxy core that parses configuration, establishes connections, and applies traffic-routing rules. After the original project was discontinued, community forks continued its development; Clash Meta later carried on under the mihomo project name. GUI clients provide the interface, subscription management, and system integration, while the core handles network traffic. Similar client names do not guarantee identical features or supported configuration fields.

Editorial standards

Download listings are checked against project releases and app store listings to verify source ownership and platform compatibility. Guides are based on reproducible steps and distinguish client settings from core configuration fields; system permissions, interfaces, and supported fields may change with updates. Back up your configuration before editing, then check the results against runtime logs. See the YAML manual for syntax details.

Usage and troubleshooting

This site does not provide proxy nodes or subscription services. Examples explain configuration structure and do not guarantee connectivity or security. When using a client, follow the laws and regulations, network policies, and terms of service that apply where you live, and assess whether configuration sources are trustworthy. If you run into problems, start by reviewing the user guide. When reporting an issue, remove subscription URLs, credentials, and personal network details.
